We recently completed significant improvement and upgrade works at The Grasshopper, one of Hall & Woodhouse’s popular sites in Dorset.

Loft Insulation Renewal & Upgrade Works
The scope of work included installing new Knauf Loft Insulation throughout the site to a depth of 300mm, providing superior thermal efficiency and long-term energy savings. To further reduce heat loss, new Stormseal door seals were fitted to all external doors, eliminating draughts and heat loss.
Additionally, all heating and hot water pipework had Climaflex Insulation fitted where required, optimising heat retention and reducing energy consumption. In the kitchen area, freezers and chillers were equipped with improved insulated curtain strips to enhance operational efficiency and reduce energy waste.
These upgrades were designed to significantly boost the site’s energy efficiency and reduce utility costs, aligning with Hall & Woodhouse’s commitment to sustainability and carbon footprint reduction.
